I don’t understand why I feel this way.
You’re on my mind every night, every day.
These feelings are strong and I can’t ignore.
I ache with thoughts of the one I adore.
I know you’re not mine, but I want you to be.
But it’s up to you, only if you want me.
I think of how happy you make me feel,
Can someone explain?, can these feelings be real?
In my life is where I want you someday
And hopefully you shall be, but only if you say
If you believe in miracles, then I’ll believe in fate.
But the only way we’ll ever find out is to stand back and wait.

Who could’ve thought I’d find happiness in someone I can’t have
It’s temptation once again it made me feel good, smile, even laugh.
I don’t know why, was it the words that came when I needed I them?
Or was it just him?

Can’t have, though I want.
Need to have, though I can’t.
Maybe I’m crazy to feel the way I do.
But, it’s all a part of me, not you.

I’ve come to realize that you are like a dove in the night.
That has my mind, not my heart, lost in flight.
I must take things step by step and day by day.
Obviously, I’ll get over you along the way.

Now my son brightens my day
And the Lord shall lead the way.
My life is more complete now than ever.
From this day on, it shall be forever.



INTENSE

The more I see you, the more I want to see you.
The more I converse with you, the more I want you.
Heart pounding, pulse racing, mind twisting.
I have to ask you, are you aware of what you are missing?
Intense are the feelings that maneuver through my veins.
Like the lava, from a volcano causing thousands to feel pain.
Pain that’s indescribable, that’s mysterious without reason.
Pain not restricted to one period, nor one season.
I can feel this pain and all of its intensity,
When I have thoughts of you and realize you’re not with me.
What did you do to me to ignite these flames?
I can’t say, yet the intensity remains the same...

I won’t leave you until the sun doesn’t shine and time stands still.

I realize now it was worth the wait.
To leave my life in the hands of fate.
